Open Enrollment Dates (Insurance)
August 15^th - September 9^th

Except for change of status or qualifying events, staff are only allowed to make changes to their current insurance plans by September 9th of the current year.  These changes will be effective on October 1st, with changes to deductions occurring on your September paycheck.

Open Enrollment Dates (Flexible Spending & Dependent Care)
Section 125 Flexible Spending and Dependent Care accounts run from March 1st to February 28th of the following year, with deductions for the plan year coming out of February to January checks.  Staff will need to enroll every year if they wish to continue participating in these offerings or if they have not participated in the past.  Representatives from American Fidelity will be available at school sites during January and the first part of February for sign-ups.  Enrollments are due in the Business Office no later than February 10th.  Except for qualifying events, staff are not allowed to make changes to their plans once they have enrolled for the current plan year.

Insurance Start Dates

Employees starting work on or by the 10th of the month will have insurance starting the first day of the next month.  Anyone starting after will not be covered for an additional month.
